GETTING TO UCLUELET &

Ucluelet borders Barkley Sound
and Longbeach and is located along the edge of the westcoast
of Vancouver Island, B.C. Canada. The town is surrounded
by a temperate rainforest and is situated along a sheltered
harbour. Ucluelet, a word used by the Nuu-Chah-Nulth people
meaning “safe harbour” has a population of approximately
2000 residents. Longbeach or Pacific Rim National Park
along with the town of Tofino are just a short distance
north from Ucluelet. There are several different modes
of transportation one can use in getting to Ucluelet.
