FERRIES
Ferries run from Tsawwassen (South of Vancouver)
to Duke Point (Nanaimo) and from Horseshoe Bay (North
Vancouver) to Nanaimo. Ferry crossings average 1 hour
and 45 minutes. Ferries also run between Tsawwassen to

There are many other ferry connections to
Vancouver Island. The two most popular vehicle and passenger
ferries are the Washington State and the Coho ferries.
The Washington State ferry travels from Anacortes, Washington
to the town of Sidney just 15 minutes outside of Victoria.
The Coho Ferry goes from Port Angeles, Washington and
crosses the Strait of Juan De Fuca to Victoria, B.C.
Passenger ferries such as the Victoria
Clipper and Seabus also travel to and from Seattle and
